| Tuesday 17th April - Italy - Florence |
|
After some fun at the playpark this morning we hit the road again, heading to Florence. After a bit of wandering we found the campsite at Fiesole, a beautiful little town perched on a hill overlooking the main city. The views are just gorgeous domes, spires and towers in terracotta colours, hills covered in olive trees and poplars.
We didnt venture into Florence itself today we just explored Fiesole. There is an interesting amphitheatre and museum. As usual our view of these things is very much from a childs perspective so I have no idea what the 3 big arches were really. For Keziah and me they were for three big gold doors, one for a King, one for a Queen and one for a Princess.
The other important things we did today were washing and food shopping. These humdrum things are still required.
