We spent the morning at Lac de Liez. The girls loved the swimming pool and the playpark down by the lake. Playparks are an important part of this holiday.
We left Lac de Liez at about 2.30pm and headed south (obviously! well be doing a lot of that over the next few months).
Our aim for the day was to get to a 4-star campsite just outside Lyon. We got there and found it was a real dump so we left and checked into the Hotel Ibis next door. The hotel was fine, but its not as good for the kids they love the space and freedom that they have when we camp.
