Wednesday 31st October - South Africa - Cape Town (Day 13)
Well, today was an uneventful day for our last day in Cape Town. We spent a good bit of the morning packing and then we went down to the V&A Waterfront where we met up with a South African couple who plan to do a Cape to Cairo trip with their family next year. We enjoyed meeting Chris and Sacha Smith and chatting to them about our experiences.

After that we had time to buy a few last minute items, check some emails and visit a play area or two. When we arrive home we wont have a car obviously (Land Cruiser being in the container and other vehicle being sold before we left the UK). Andrew has been scouring various websites to secure a car for our return to the UK. Today everything was finalised for a purchase. Andrew will meet the seller at Heathrow tomorrow morning and will then drive the car back home. Ill take the children up on the plane.

Keziah is very excited about going back home. She does this cute little stifled-smile whenever we mention our home-going. If we speak about it for any length of time she can hold the smile back no longer and it breaks out into a huge grin.
