|Sunday 16th September - Malawi - Blantyre
We had a very lazy morning today. The girls were in good form, happily entertaining themselves on the beach with their buckets and spades, splashing in the water or playing with some of the local kids. That freed Andrew and me up so I spent the time reading and sunbathing and Andrew spent the time with the girls fishing net trying to catch the little fish that splashed in the shallows of the lake. He did manage to catch a couple of tiny tiddlers, much to his delight (for his daughters entertainment of course).
We left FatMonkeys after lunch and drove to Blantyre, arriving there at about 5.30pm. We didnt have any recommendations of where to stay, but we knew it was possible to camp at Doogles - a hotel, restaurant, backpackers lodge type place in the city, so we made our way there. Its not great, but its OK.
